First, Bill is a very technical guy. Where Earth4Energy appeals to the popular press like CNN, you’ll find HomeMadeEnergy in the home-based technology press like Popular Science and Popular Mechanics. Bill takes the time to layout details like charts of energy consumption by percentage.

Second, Bill includes information on systems like simple water fuel that you may have seen advertised in other places.

And third, he includes quite a few videos such as these, how to use water with fuel, photovoltaic system components, electrical basics, systems and components.

My dad is a former engineer for the military. He built his first solar power system by hand 20 years ago. If he were just starting today, I’d recommend this system to him.
